Episode 9: The Forty Thieves Gang of London / Peg Entwistle, the Hollywood Sign Ghost
Hey folx!
Episode 9 already??? This week's episode of Creepy InQueeries has everything: Kevin's horrible Aussie accent, female gangs with shoplifting precision the house down, a specter haunting the trails of the Hollywood Sign, 1930s hiking boots, Bar prep, razorblades in corsages, Yankee Candle sales tactics, and so....much....MORE.
Miss starts us off with her true crime story on the London, all-female gang The Forty Thieves (or Forty Elephants) and one of their most notorious leaders (ahem, one of their most notorious queens): Diamond Annie. Ugh, doesn't that name alone sound badass??
Then, Kevin's spoopy story takes us to Los Angeles 1932 to tell the tragic and ghostly tale of Peg Entwistle, the actress who jumped from the H of the Hollywood Sign who's known to still haunt the trails leading to the historic landmark.
Peg's story deals with suicide, if you or someone you know is in need of support, please go to https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org
