When Roman soldiers breached the defenses at the top, they were met by silence, the wind, and perhaps a lone eagle, watching.
We are talking this week about your place on the winds of history. Where do you stand with God? Why are you here?
Isaiah 40:31 says, “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
God wants you to succeed. He wants you to live with joy, to sleep well at night and to enjoy your family. God wants you to be fulfilled in your career.
Do you really think He wants you to fail and to be miserable? Stop and take a few minutes to get quiet and still. Ask God to put wind under your wings so that you can reach the heights He wants you to reach.
Ask Him, and then watch Him work in your life!
Let’s pray. Lord, your will for us is perfect and sure. We love you for your strength in our lives. Amen.
