#43: Being on the Edge: Transition, Vulnerability & Truth with Leanna Jane Lewis
In this episode Leanna will share how she found the courage to make the biggest change of her life: following her calling, stepping into the unknown and walking away from her old job and identity. Her story takes us through the trauma of birth and death and the fear that comes with being on the edge of change.
When Leanna was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, she decided to go to teacher’s college. However, her teaching job was keeping her from her children; she was only seeing her daughter for an hour and a half each day. Leanna was miserable being away from her daughter, so she decided it was a no-brainer, something in her life had to change.
She left a field that she had spent two decades in, moved her family out of the city, and started her own business. Leanna found that her fear quickly turned to excitement every day that she made the decision to show up and move forward. She is now a life coach, yoga instructor, and women’s empowerment leader, and with two children, her own business, and a sick father, she is still facing fear every day.
Join us for an honest conversation about change, grief, and taking risks. In this episode, Leanna will tell us about her business and the journey she went on to be where she is today. She will also recommend:
