This podcast is about the human spirit. Period.
Trauma, yes.
Healing, yes.
Relationship, yes.
But most of all, the humanbeingness within each of those things.
Today, it's about the journey of the survivor and one of the people forging a path by sharing her journey, and the lessons we can all take whether we're a therapist, teacher, survivor, or all of the above--Cissy White!

Cissy White is a trauma-mama writer and joy-stalking survivor. She believes it's possible - but difficult - to live, love, and parent well while post-traumatically stressed. Her goal is to make talk about trauma and healing less clinical and more conversational, less abstract and more accessible. She's currently working at the ACEs Connection as the Northeast Community Facilitator and Parenting with ACEs Community, Manager. She believes the trauma-informed movement must be survivor-led.
