Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

 

Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory we give you praise. And we honor your name for the beauty of your word and the beauty of your holiness. You are our God. Oh, there's none like you. You're so wonderful. So kind. And so patient with us. We thank you, God, that you are a wonderful father. We call you our father.

 

And greater you in our lives? And in our homes, in our families, and all how we worship you. And we adore you. That you have great plans for us. You have great provisions for us, and God has you call us out into deep waters. We thank you, God, that we will have total trust in you. We may not have the experience or the reference point, but we totally trust you.

 

And your word says trust in the Lord with all thy heart lean not to down under. In all of our ways acknowledge you. We acknowledged that we need your help. We acknowledged that we need understand that we acknowledged that we need the wisdom we knowledge that we need to be involved in our lives. Yes. And your word comes with a promise that when we acknowledged you, you shall direct our path.

 

And so God, we pray that you would take over our lives. We surrender our lives to you. Glory be to God. And we say yes to your direction. Yes. To your will. Yes to you. The other thing God is, that we will prepare for the journey, the area of uncharted water. Give us to spend time commuting with you. Give us to spend time praying and fasting and reading your word. Give us to, spend time meditating upon your word.

 

For we will know how to know we must know your voice and we're going to follow you. We must know your word if we're going to follow you. In Jesus' name. So I asked God that you would give us oh, glory to the discipline and the strength to be disciplined. And that we disciplined ourselves to be mature, that we will become strong mature people of God mature believers. That we're able to step out again into deep waters and to believe you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
