There is a great deal of discussion taking place in the country right now about just what is wrong with America. My observation is that much of the conversation centers around the symptoms that we observe, but that there is not much intelligent discussion about the root causes of the problem. To use a medical metaphor, there is much talk about the symptoms of what's wrong, but not much talk on the disease itself. There's nothing wrong with discussing symptoms, but I think it often leads to a misdiagnosis of the disease. Join me as we take the "World According to Briggs" survey results on "What's Wrong with America" and draw causal effects to those symptoms to better understand the underlying problems in our country.
