The transformation that Manuel experienced sounds like something that only Hollywood could come up with, but it’s completely true! Manuel was stuck in a six-year pattern drug addiction and despair until his father called him on his 19th birthday. Manuel’s father guided him to find a solution to his pain and suffering - he packed up everything he had and moved to Mexico City. The plan worked, and Manuel was able to get completely free of drugs - to stay away from that life, Manuel chose to stay away from Puerto Rico altogether.
