Speaking of muscle building, bulking is quite common in bodybuilding. What is bulking? You ask.
Bulking is where you supply your body with excess calories in order to add weight (muscles and fat). It's important to note there are two types of bulking: clean bulk and dirty bulk. Simply put, clean bulking is when you subject your body to clean sources of carbs and dirty bulking is when you subject your body to any food sources including junk to add calories.
These two types of bulking arguably have their own benefits, but which one is the best for you? Let's find out with Ashley Parker.
Ashley Parker is an IFBB Pro. She has been competing a little over a year, and she recently earned her pro card at 2019 NPC Jr. USA Championships where scooped Bikini Overall Champion title. In addition, Ashley is a Licensed Practical Nurse, but she took a break from that to focus on bodybuilding. She currently works at Arie. Her goal is to compete in the Olympia in 2020.
