Enkindle: Family Scripture Reflections
Religion & Spirituality:Christianity
In this reflection for the Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time 2022, Adam Novotny leads us in a reflection to look at our hearts and see how we might better imitate in our own lives the ways that God loves us.
What can we learn about ourselves if in the readings this week about love, we insert our own names wherever the word “love” is used? Would we find that we are patient, kind, not jealous, not pompous, not inflated, not rude, that we don’t seek our own interests, and that we rejoice in the truth? Do we bear all things, hope all things, endure all things? Does our love ever fail? Knowing that God is Love, may these readings this weekend challenge us to seek to imitate in our own lives the way that God loves us.
