Write This Down

In this episode, Dr. Gadson discusses the topic of journaling.

She highlights Exodus 17:8-16.  In this passage, Moses was instructed to "write this down"  -  recalling the events when Aaron and Hur assisted him in holding up his hands enabling Joshua to defeat the Amaleks.

God instructed Moses to "write this down" to remind and to recite for generations. 
Journaling is a way we can record events in our lives where God has shown Himself to us. 
 In this way, journaling is used as a spiritual discipline facilitating our spiritual formation.
