Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

 

Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory. We give you praise. We worship your holy name. And because you are the God of peace, you left us peace. Your son, Jesus represents peace. At the announcement of your birth, peace, and Goodwill to all men. So God for all of those that are suffering and are feeling a loss of peace this morning, I pray in the name of Jesus that you would comfort their hearts and their minds and their souls.

 

I pray, oh God, that they will be surrounded by your peace, your peace in their minds. I pray, oh God, that they will be surrounded by a group that loves them and a great support system in Jesus' name. I pray to God, even in the hardest moments of life. In the things that they're facing. That their peace would be intact for you are the God that gives us peace.

 

And you are the peace that passes all understanding. I pray that the holy spirit would birth peace in our lives. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
