Utah Jazz radio voice and Jazz NBA Insider David Locke brings you the daily podcast on the Utah Jazz, Locked On Jazz.
Today he looks to see if the Jazz can avoid the slow starts that have been killing them as well as if Rudy Gay can step up in the lineup and make a bigger impact for the Utah Jazz.
The Utah Jazz have been forced to play without their main guns, Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert for 7 games. Yet, in this time the Utah Jazz have found ways to improve.
Mike Conley is taking a larger role both on and off the floor in a leadership fashion and the Jazz need his voice. Eric Pashcall has shown he can contribute in numerous manners. While, the offense and defense have been forced to play in different manners.
Locke also looks at two players who he thinks are very interesting moving forward. The former 39th pick Elijah Hughes and the former 40th pick Jared Butler. Locke breaks down where both of them are and how they might be able to contribute
Today, Locke looks at the Houston Rockets, who have Eric Gordon and that would be a mammoth risk but might be worth the discussion. Then they look at the Clippers, Lakers and Grizzlies and two potential names come forward in the discussion.
