A 2,000 mile storm of snow, rain, ice, and tornadoes strands travelers and knocks out power. The Midwest is digging out from more than a foot of snow. Today's snowfall could reach 18 inches in parts of Ohio, New York, and northern New England. In Alabama, a tornado killed one person yesterday and injured eight others. With large Russian military forces deployed near Ukraine, U.S. officials say Moscow could use a fabricated video of a fake Ukrainian attack, as a pretext to invade. Russia denies it has any plans for a so-called false flag operation. This morning, we're learning more about the U.S. raid in Syria that ended with the death of one of the world's most wanted terrorists. The ISIS leader exploded a bomb that killed himself and members of his family, as American special operations forces closed in. Facebook's parent company Meta is reeling from a punishing day of stock selling -- its shares plunging about 26%, more than $230 billion. It was the biggest one day loss of market value of any company in U.S. history. Now to China, where the opening ceremony of the winter Olympics are underway in Beijing. China has been widely criticized for human rights abuses, including mistreatment of pro-democracy activists and ethnic minorities.
