Bao Nguyen is a Vietnamese American film director and producer. Bao is a Vietnamese American film director, producer, and cinematographer who has directed eleven documentaries.

He is notable for directing the documentary films Live From New York, chronicling the legacy of NBC's long-running sketch show Saturday Night Live, and Be Water, which originally premiered at Sundance Film Festival before airing as part of ESPN's 30 for 30 series.
