"Chasing the Lion" - Team USA Chaplain Asif Shaikh
Asif Shaikh serves as one of the chaplains for the United States Olympic team. Raised a Muslim, Shaikh became a Christian later in life. This week on "Inside the Chapel," with the 2022 Winter Olympics in full swing, Sheikh brings a message about "chasing the lion" and overcoming fear.
"The greatest fear in your life today can also be your greatest triumph," he said. He talks about the disappointment that Summer Olympians felt after they were delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but also the fear and anxiety that the delay and the pandemic have brought. Today's message is all about facing those fears and disappointments.
