Enkindle 94 – 02.20.22 – Generosity First

In this reflection for the Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time 2022, Patrick and Catherine Sullivan show us that in a family, our first reaction or first response should be generosity, even when it’s hard.

We’re all trying to get to heaven. We’re all trying to help each other along the way and who better to help you on that journey than the people who love you the most and who know you the best.

Let’s pray that in our families, we may lead with generosity, even when it’s hard, and even when the first thing we want to do is lash out, or be upset when our family members are annoying or hurtful. Let’s pray that He will give us the grace that we need, and the mercy that we need, to show mercy to others and be a light in the world, starting in our families.
