So, this week, we want to talk about age discrimination dressed up as workplace banter. What do we mean? Did you know that your colleagues can dress up age discrimination as office banter, when the real reason for the discriminatory behaviour… is to get rid of you from your job…
We take you through a recent case where an employment tribunal awarded £25,000 against a company whose referred to their oldest employee in a derogatory way and also didn’t dissuade their employees from doing the same thing.
We take you through what the employee did, to challenge his employer.
