SITD 2/16/22: Final Episode of 205 Live, Josh Alexander Gets Sent Home

John Siino reviews this week’s editions of AEW Dark, AEW Dark: Elevation, NXT UK, IMPACT Wrestling, 205 Live, NJPW Strong, NWA Powerrr, NWA USA, and Main Event in under 15 minutes on Shot In The Dark.

The era of 205 Live comes to an end as Trick Williams takes on Ikemen Jiro, Lash Legend is in action versus Erica Yan and Joe Gacy faces Xyon Quinn, but not before cutting a promo saying that ‘change is coming, and it’s time that we Level Up’.

IMPACT Wrestling starts with Scott D’Amore having enough of Josh Alexander and sending him home, not before Alexander gets confronted by Big Kon (Formerly Konnor of The Ascension). Deonna Purrazzo throws out an open challenge for the ROH Women’s Championship, Steve Maclin makes a case to join Team IMPACT to fight Honor No More and W. Morrissey takes on Brian Myers in a no disqualification match.

On AEW Dark, Max Caster drops two freestyles as he’s in singles action before Anthony Bowens takes on Fuego Del Sol. Jora Johl warns us that in 2022 we will see Jora’s force and MT Nakazawa gives his all against Joey Sweets. To cap it off, we get an AEW Dark Special episode on Thursday as well.

Also, Zack Clayton tries to impress The Situation & JWoww on AEW Dark: Elevation, Colby Corino vs. Kerry Morton in the Junior Heavyweight Title Tournament Semi-Final on NWA USA, the Team War Finals go down on NWA Powerrr, Gallus takes over the Supernova Sessions on NXT UK, Josh Barnett vs. Ren Narita on NJPW Strong, and Veer Mahaan continues his reign on Main Event.
