SITD 10/20/21: Dragunov/A-Kid on NXT UK, TJP joins United Empire

John Siino reviews this week’s editions of AEW Dark, AEW Dark: Elevation, NXT UK, 205 Live, NJPW Strong, NWA Powerrr, Ring of Honor, and Main Event in under 15 minutes on Shot In The Dark.

This week on NXT UK, BT Sport Studios finally welcomes back fans as Ilja Dragunov defends his NXT UK Championship against A-Kid. We also get Blair Davenport back from her suspension as she takes on Stevie Turner and Teoman promises that his family will grow.

NJPW Strong sees the first appearances on this show by Ryusuke Taguchi, Chris Bey, Taiji Ishimori and Will Ospreay, with Ospreay taking on Karl Fredericks in the main event which ends with TJP joining the United Empire as their newest member. Hikuleo and Juice Robinson's feud also continues ahead of their upcoming Texas Bullrope match.

On AEW Dark, newly signed Daniel Garcia teams up with 2point0 and Serpentico to take on Dark Order in the main event. We also have Jade Cargill making her case on becoming TBS Champion and turning this into the ‘That Bitch Show’ and Jamie Hayter makes her Dark debut.

Also, six-woman tag match main events AEW Dark: Elevation, Roderick Strong vs. Odyssey Jones on 205 Live, Tim Storm took on Thom Latimer on a special Surge episode of NWA Powerrr, Dragon Lee & Kenny King defended their tag team championship against SOS on ROH, John Morrison vs. Angel Garza on Main Event, and more!
