SITD 5/19/21: NXT UK Women’s Gauntlet, Casino Battle Royale entrants

John Siino reviews this week’s editions of AEW Dark, AEW Dark: Elevation, NXT UK, NWA Powerrr, 205 Live, NJPW Strong, Ring of Honor, and Main Event in under 15 minutes on Shot In The Dark.

This week on NXT UK, we see five women battle it out in a Gauntlet Match to determine the number one contender for the NXT UK Women’s Championship, as well as Nathan Frazer vs. Noam Dar in a Heritage Rules match.

NWA Powerrr saw The Pope defend his NWA Television Championship vs. Matt Cross, Thunder Rosa’s match with Kamille gets a replacement and two teams battle it out for a shot at the NWA Tag Team Championship after Billy Corgan gives Strictly Business an ultimatum.

And on AEW Dark: Elevation, Eddie Kingston & Jon Moxley are in tag team action, Paul Wight sits down with Ryan Nemeth and Brian Cages faces Mike Sydal in the main event.

Also, on NJPW Strong, Team Filthy has a bit of dissention after the main event, Kris Statlander and Diamante go one-on-one as well as a number of names announced for the Casino Battle Royale for Double or Nothing on AEW Dark, a 14 Man Rankings Battle Royal on ROH, Asher Hale f/k/a Anthony Henry debuts on 205 Live, Ricochet and Mustafa Ali have their rubber match on Main Event and more!
