SITD 5/5/21: New ROH TV Champion, LA Dojo Showcase

John Siino reviews this week’s editions of AEW Dark, AEW Dark: Elevation, NXT UK, NWA Powerrr, 205 Live, NJPW Strong, Ring of Honor, and Main Event in under 15 minutes on Shot In The Dark.

This week on ROH, we see a new ROH World Television Champion as VLNC UNLTD’s Tony Deppen challenges The Foundation’s Tracy Williams, Bandido vs. Flamita continue their love/hate relationship, and a tag team reforms.

NXT UK saw Aoife Valkyrie put up her undefeated streak against “The Final Boss” Meiko Satomura, we find out who will be next to challenge Kay Lee Ray for NXT UK Women’s Championship, the debut of Rohan Raja (fka Gursinder Singh), as well as Gallus vs. Symbiosis in the main event with six-man action.

And on AEW Dark: Elevation we see Jon Moxley, Miro, Thunder Rosa, Red Velvet and more in singles action as well as QT Marshall sending one final message to Cody Rhodes.

Also, NJPW Strong shows off their LA Dojo Showcase with one proclaiming the ‘Young Lion’ is dead, Leyla Hirsch and Diamante settle their score on AEW Dark, Nick Aldis gets some unsettling news on a Surge episode of NWA Powerrr, a pair of tag team matches on 205 Live, Ricochet vs. Mustafa Ali on Main Event and more!
