SITD 4/7/21: NJPW Strong Championship, NXT UK debuts

John Siino reviews this week’s editions of AEW Dark, AEW Dark: Elevation, NXT UK, NWA Powerrr, 205 Live, NJPW Strong, Ring of Honor, and Main Event in under 15 minutes on Shot In The Dark.

This week on NXT UK, we see the debuts of Emilia “Millie” McKenzie and Stevie Turner (Bobbi Tyler), and we see the end of a long standing tag team who have been together since the start of the brand.

NJPW Strong revealed that the winner of the New Japan Cup USA 2021 will be crowned the first ever NJPW Strong Openweight Champion. Also, Chris Dickinson's allegiances come into question as he’s caught in between two different stables with Tom Lawlor’s in NJPW and Brody King’s in ROH. 

And on NWA Powerrr, The Pope defends his Television Championship against Fred Rosser, Aron Stevens & Kratos scout for their next tag team challengers, Thunder Rosa is confronted by the rest of the women’s roster and Nick Aldis starts scouting throughout the entire wrestling world for the next member of Strictly Business.

Also, 12 matches each on AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation (now with daylight!), we get a rubber match on ROH, Mansoor’s undefeated streak continues on 205 Live & Main Event and more!
