The Pipeman interviews the band called Yawn. The music is totally original sounding, not like anything else. Pure great musicianship. One of the songs is 10 minutes long. They tried to put a lot of material in the music to keep the listener involved in listening. The new full-length release is called Materialism. It’s a record with aggressive 8 string guitar break downs, ambience soundscapes, experimental electronics, mechanical rhythms. Its an influence of all these influences from over the years. They try and find and create music that they can’t find and never heard. Music today is much faster then how it use to be. They had their first gig ever before Norway shut down. They had a tour lined up. It was hard to keep the momentum going. Because of this they had time to focus on creating the music and perfecting it. Locking into the studio was the only thing they could do during the lock down. It was good to spend time to dial in the right guitar sounds. You can connect with the band on all social media platforms. You can stream on all major platforms after the release. You can get their merch, music and music on Bandcamp. The music is fantastic and with that the live shows are going to be even more. They are going on tour in Europe UK in 2 weeks. A full week of touring in Denmark, Germany, and Norway.
