There is a necessary ingredient for our American society to endure and that is a moral and religious people. When the American colonies declared independence in 1776, they established as their foundation for a free republic the “Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God.” They looked to an eternal stable moral foundation as the bedrock of their new system of government. Why is it important that Christians do not retreat from voting and being involved and outspoken in the political process? Should Christians view it as their duty to vote? What are some reasons Christians shy away from being active in our political process and why are they wrong?
