It’s been a traumatic couple of years for everyone, and what many people don’t realize is that trauma and PTSD can present similarly to ADHD. The inability to focus, restlessness, anxiety, and depression could all point to PTSD or ADHD.
In todays’ episode of The Dr. Kinney Show, I sat down with Penny Jarrett to talk more about coping strategies with ADHD, her personal experience with it, and how to determine if you actually have it or if it’s a trauma response.
Penny is a Mental Health and Wellness writer, creator, and mentor who is extremely passionate about helping others understand and love themselves so that they can live joyful, peaceful, fulfilling lives, free from the weight and blockages attached to past pains and current emotional and mental challenges.
The way she helps others in similar situations is truly inspirational. Tune in to learn more about what she learned about ADHD from her experiences with it, the diet that changed everything, interest-based nervous systems, and so much more.
