Walnut Grove has some new residents living in the old Edwards shack: The Galender Brothers. Sam, George and little brother, Bubba, all lack a little...well, civility. First, George and Sam head to every retail option in town and run up large debts claiming they're waiting on a bank draft. Second, Bubba assaults Big Sister Mary in the school yard following it up with threats of retaliation. Third, They lie to the Reverend Alden. Fourth...the list keeps growing with each moment the Calendar brothers stay in town. No one in town takes action, they've all decided to wait for the Galender Brothers to get tired of their antics and leave town on their own. Wishful thinking. After a frightening exchange between Caroline, George and Sam leads to Charles all battered up, the town is left wondering what to do. That's when Twisted Big Sister Mary decides to take matters into her own hands to takedown the tyrnical force of Bubba...with some help of the female student body. This act inspires the adults to stand up as well and together they save their town. Should this episode have been called Grand Larceny on the Prairie? Were the Galendar Brother squatting in the old Edwards Shack or were they renting? Is Nellie concerned that she can only make friends through bribery?
