Specifically, this week's show discusses how Athens' limited size hindered its ability to unify power throughout the country. As a result, Greece's larger, more powerful leagues could tyrannize the smaller, weaker leagues within their already fragile union. This authoritarian power was left unchecked by societal order, creating inner fractures that Rome viewed as an opportunity to seize power and conquer Greece.
