If you perform an internet search for the Surrency, Georgia haunting, you'll see tales of red eyes in the darkness, a girl levitating in her bed, and a fire poker out for the kill. The truth isn't quite as dramatic, but it certainly is weird. Prepare for a vanishing pig, slutty potatoes, a speedy clock, teleporting liquor, an old sea captain drinking said teleporting liquor without a second thought, 500 nosy people just trying to get by without Netflix, and brickbats. Brickbats upon brickbats upon brickbats.
Was it a poltergeist? A ghost? We'll never know for sure, but something wild was certainly happening in the Surrency house (as those 500 nosy people would attest).
But first, Zoey dives into the history of Mardi Gras! And we both wish we had thought to make a King Cake to celebrate.
