The Possibly Paranormal Podcast
Society & Culture
It's the next block of paranormal location, and that means it's Ghost Ships Month! And we start with a major doozy. The Mary Celeste is a real or true ghost ship, one that actually is classified as such by sailor and maritime laws. That means it was a ship that was out on the ocean without a crew on it. But what happened to the crew? That's a great question that we attempt to answer.
The history of this ship is all around its curse. One that is well-documented by the annals of history. Many crews had some terrible things happen on this ship before it finally ended up becoming a ghost ship. The paranormal surrounds the conspiracies that came in the late 1800s around what happened to this ship. Including one by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the man who created Sherlock himself. And the games and commercial all surround a new theme as well, one of spaceships from different series.
