US stocks drop as energy prices soar, with oil nearing US$105 and European gas surging 23%. Western firms continue to pull out of Russia as more sanctions are introduced. The Dow Jones finished down 598 points (-1.76%) with energy the only sector in positive territory. SPI Futures are pointing to a soft open down 49 points (-0.7%).
