You already know you're supposed to take care of yourself. And you'd LOVE to. But when? And how? I get it. The way self care is marketed to us women makes us think we need tons of time and boatloads of extra cash lying around. Massages, mani/pedis, girls nights out...they all sound amazing, aaaaaand...totally unrealistic.
Well, guess what? Those things are great if you can get it. But TRUE self care doesn't require money and only requires minutes a day. What I've learned in my own journey from overwhelmed, exhausted hot mess (who N E V E R took care of herself) to a woman whose self care is non-negotiable is that it's not massages, it's daily habits. Small habits you do each day that make your life better. That make you feel better.
That's why we're supposed to practice self-care, right? To feel better.
