#106 US Marine to Fieldcraft Farmer, Fantastic Story
If you like a good story that starts out rough and points towards success this is it. We begin with Jon Turner and his service as a US Marine and land on his family farm in Vermont several years later. Helping kids learn how to handle single-digit cold and love it, utilizing and teaching others how to take plants and animals from field to fork, and demonstrates how one good Marine and others like him, can transition from military life and the rigors that go with it to life outside of the setting. I must say, it still looks a lot like service to me.
