Breakfast Briefing – Fri 4 Mar

The Dow finished down 97 points (-0.29%) in a directionless session. It was the same narrative overnight, with the Russia-Ukraine conflict headlining. Ukraine said they did not get the result they had hoped for in the second round of peace talks but have agreed to hold another round of talks with Russia. • Oil hits highs but finishes down 2.2% and Gold up 0.7% with AUD at 73.3.
