Oldham Athletic (A) - Preview - Season 21/22, Episode 37
Isn't it amazing what a couple of wins and a manager that the fans universally like can make to change the mood of a football club?
In the latest episode of The Brunton Bugle, Dan and Lee look back on Simmo's first week in charge, with two wins and two clean sheets to take the Blues out of the relegation zone - although they're not totally out of the woods by any means!
We also look ahead to this weekend's massive clash with Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park, where the Blues will face up against their former boss John Sheridan. We spoke to Andy from the Boundary Park Alert System podcast about the incredible job Sheridan has done on his return to the club, as well as the on-going ownership issues they are facing.
On top of all that, there's a round-up on how United's players out on-loan are getting on, a catch-up on how ex-Blues have got on in the last week and another question of the week from Mike for you to have a crack at.
Your host Lee Rooney is in Liverpool and is joined online by Dan MacLennan in Carlisle. You can find us on Twitter @bruntonbugle, Facebook (search for "Brunton Bugle") and email us with any questions, suggestions and feedback to bruntonbugle@gmail.com.
