Sara Bir is a chef and a writer. She's the author of two cookbooks, including The Fruit Forager's Companion. She is a regular contributor to Simply Recipes. Before the pandemic, she taught hands-on cooking classes and regularly gave presentations at libraries and festivals. Sara's topic is indie publishing, and she goes into the lack of diversity in publishing at large, including in food media. Meryl & Sara play Over/Under, Be Boss, and First Date and talk about the challenges of dating during a pandemic.
