Day 26: Bookends

It's the last day off until home and Dan and Janice reflect on the trip and on the return.  Despite all the Delta variant worry and weirdness, everyone feels lucky to have gone on the road again. But also, there's a sense of loss associated with it all: a loss of the time that we didn't get to spend out in the world because of the mishandling of the pandemic.
