The Portland Trail Blazers are a bad basketball team by design and that well-crafted plan led to a 38 point loss to the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night. There's a chance the Blazers don't win again the rest of the season. Seriously. That's a real thing that could happen.
The Blazers are chasing lottery picks and on that front there was a notable development in New Orleans on Wednesday that has real implications for Portland.
