Gerald Uden was one of those guys who fell in love hard. By the time he was in his early thirties, he had been married and divorced three times. After the third divorce, Gerald was a beaten man and was even considering suicide. Then Alice Prunty came into his life. Just like that, Gerald was ready to marry again.

They did marry and they stayed married until Alice died in 2019. The marriage survived despite some horrendous acts committed by the pair. In 1974, Alice shot and killed her third husband, Ron Holtz. She dated and married Gerald after killing of Holtz, and Gerald was aware of the killing. In 1980 Gerald shot and killed his third wife, Virginia, as well as her children Richard and Reagan. Alice was aware of these killings too.
