About Joyce Myers
Ms. Joyce L. Myers assumed the Chief Data and Analytics Officer position in September 2020. She is responsible for the command wide data and information strategy, governance, control, policy development, and effective data exploitation. Prior to this she served as the AMCOM Secretary of the General Staff (SGS) from June 2018 - September 2020.
She was born as part of a military family. After completing her Associate’s Degree in Structural Engineering, she joined the U.S. Army in 1984.
She supported various Army Logistics data contracts from 2005-2010. From 2010 – 2018, she led the teams that were responsible for analyzing multiple logistics data sets to identify data trends related to processes, systems, policies, and internal business rules to identify possible impacts each particular data set, on its own and when integrated, and on materiel readiness and customer requirements.
In addition to her Associate’s Degree, Ms. Myers holds a Master of Science degree in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Logistics Management). Ms. Myers holds a Graduate Certificate in Enterprise Systems, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and is a SAP TERP 10 Certified Associate.
Ms. Myers’ is active in her community through leadership roles in several nationwide non-profit Veteran Service Organizations.
