Optimize your Brain & Body / Hacks for everyday life
This is a list of everyday hacks to optimize your mental and physical health. I would advise making some new habits. Including the ones that will plausibly fit into your schedule. Or go all out, and try them all to really change your life! Some of these hacks seem obvious, but honestly most people just overlook them. I cover these topics...
Sleep - When should you stop taking in artificial light? Can blue blocker glasses help? What temperature should it be? When you should finish your last meal?
Waking - Should you get immediate sun or bright light exposure?
Naps - Good or Bad?
Cold / Hot exposure - Saunas, Cryo, Ice baths... Do they improve mental / physical health and longevity?
Relax - Meditation, Breath work, Hypnosis, Binaural Beats, Pink or White noise, Panoramic views... Does any of this relax you, lower your stress, or anxiety?
Workout - Cardio, Stretching, Weight training. Which one is better? How often to do it? What are the actual benefits?
Hobbies / Passion projects - Can you make $$$ doing this? What do these activities do for your wellbeing?
These are not the only things in life that matter of course. But, this list represents a huge chunk of our lives. Changes in these areas will dramatically change the health of your brain and body. Living happier and healthier is something I know we all strive for. So, I do hope this gives you some things to consider implementing. Ultimately helping you enjoy your life more!
(P.S. I was walking on the treadmill while recording. So you may notice the footsteps in the background. Hope it isn't to distracting.) Take care...
