One of Zig’s favorite quotes and mine (Kevin) is, “If you believe your product or service can fulfill a true need, it's your moral obligation to sell it.” But it’s even bigger. YOU are a product and you are on planet earth to serve. Selling is influencing. If you can’t effectively influence others in a positive way, you can’t really serve them much. Thus if you are walking through life today with no formal understanding of and training in selling/influencing, you are living life handicapped. I’ll even submit you are handicapping those you love because you are not as effective as you should be in helping them…because you aren’t listening enough, caring enough or successfully speaking their language.
