Ghislaine Maxwell Retrial Lawyers for convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell are asking for a retrial after a juror told media he used his own experience of abuse to persuade other jurors who doubted witnesses.
Prosecutors are also asking a judge to open an inquiry into the man’s statements.
The 60-year-old Brit was found guilty last week in New York City on five of six counts relating to child sex trafficking.

In a bold legal move, the attorney for the royal argued before Manhattan Judge Lewis Kaplin that a recent extension to a passed New York State law was unconstitutional.
Attorney Andrew Brettler said it should be stricken down and he had served notice on the New York Attorney-General.
