Welcome to Roadcase!! We're super-stoked to have Lindsay Lou stop by to chat. Lindsay is a Michigan native and a permanent fixture in the bluegrass community -- with an absolutely gorgeous voice and a deeply soulful musical groove -- she has blended her own varied musical direction with tradition elements to create some of the scene's most compelling artistic works. Her 2018 album release, Southland, incorporates the myriad elements of Lindsay's musical life and while notable for its departure from previous studio efforts, is equally powerful and enchanting. Lindsay will be touring beginning in May with her other project, Sweet Water Warblers, and is also busy on the road, constantly playing Festivals and various live events with friends and associates she has amassed along the way, during her long and fruitful journey from her roots in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to her current home in Nashville. Lindsay is a unique artist -- and also quite an academic -- who honed her craft, followed her heart, and continues to so to this day. It's a wonderful and inspiring journey! So hop on the Roadcase bus and enjoy this conversation with Lindsay Lou. It's quite a trip!
