Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

 

This is prayer number three in a series of Psalm 1 0 3. Father God, we thank you and we honor you and we praise you. And God, we thank you for being our father. You are our father. Which art in heaven hollowed would be thy name. And just as our parents are kind to the children, God, you're so kind to us. You are so merciful.

 

You have not dwelt with us according to our sins, because if you had, none of us would be here today. We're at your mercy, Glory be to God. Thank you, Lord. And your grace. And you have forgiven us. For our sins. And you know, God, how much we can bear for your word says you remember that we are nothing but dust.

 

And just as the grass and the flowers fade away. We will fade away too. But God, we thank you that our strengths are renewed as Eagles, glory be to God. As we trust in you. That we shall mount up with wings of Eagles and the Lord will be our strength in a time of trouble, you will hide us, glory be to God. For your provision, you will hide us. I give you glory and I give you praise for the great protection of being a child of the most high God. For in you we have provision, covering, safety. For it is in the name of Jesus that I pray. Thank God. Amen.
