Ruffed Grouse Hunting | Project Upland | Public Grouse | The Conservation of America's Most Endangered Gamebird

Have you ever grouse hunted before? Ever heard or seen a grouse? Did you know that they are fans of Def Leppard?! Me either. However, after this past Saturday, I realized just how badly I want to now. These birds are remarkably gorgeous and live in some of the most beautiful terrains your mind can imagine. I drove up to Thomasville Georgia to attend the Public Grouse Film Tour which is a collaborative effort among Project Upland, RGS, and BHA to highlight the need to conserve a tremendously rich hunting history of the multiple species of Grouse in America. I sat down with Chris Jenkins of the Orianne Society, and Nathan Henderson of Cast and Blast Florida and both belong and direct the Georgia Chapter of BHA to discuss these issues more in-depth.
