As our amazing guest - Twin Peaks PHD Jeremiah of Take The Ring - points out, Mr. C may not be in this episode, but that certainly doesn’t mean evil takes a break. The Richard Hornes, Ike the Spikes, and Chad Broxfords of the world prove that Janey-E’s statement about living in a dark time is all too true.

Thankfully we’ve got the pure goodness and light of folks like Mr. D, Carl Rodd, Bushnell Mullins, and Miriam to provide a little soothing balm. Plus, there’s the excitement of Hawk making progress in the “something’s missing” case, and the introduction that finally puts a face to the iconic name: Diane.

Oh and ALSO - it’s Mells’ 100th freaking episode of Damn Fine TV!! Woo hoo! DFTV would only be, like, “Fine TV” without Mells, so here’s to 100 more!
