Special #BruteCast - Interview with Ms. Anna Bulakh
The Krulak Center is very grateful to Ms. Anna Bulakh, currently residing in #Ukraine, for granting us the time to record this episode. All opinions expressed here are those of the individual and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Krulak Center, Marine Corps University, the United States Marine Corps, or any other agency of the U.S. Government.
Ms. Bulakh has spent many years working in Ukraine on security and defense policies, and focuses on building resilience into technology and information security. In this episode, she discussed a comprehensive approach to defense and security as it also relates to cyber defense, the technology sector, and civilian engagement in the kinetic dimension of defending one's homeland as part of the territorial defense effort. She covered a range of aspects in hybrid warfare, and factors in Ukraine’s resilience in the cyber and land domains. This includes information operations and cyber attacks, private tech sector engagement, and the reality that cyber warfare extends beyond Ukraine-Russia internet spaces. She also touched on the kinetic space — society embedding in the security and defense sectors.
