The Twin Cities based Actor / Director / Producer Bill Cooper joins us on this edition of Cinematic Heartland: A Filmmaking Podcast to share his love of filmmaking in the Midwest. As an actor, he has appeared in 30 short films and features as well as over 200 television commercials. He brings that vast amount of knowledge and experience to the directing chair as he helms such projects as the Beth Hinde written and produced film Charcoal Skies which was shot in Iowa. We discuss that project in depth as well as the acting workshops he has developed and the Twin Cities Film Festival which he has been the managing director of for 15 years.
