Episode 8: Simply the Crew

Alicia King (Co-owner/operator Six Maples Farm in Addington Forks, NS) and Kevin Antworth (CEO Red Coat Cattle Feeders in southern Saskatchewan) join Co-Host Bree Patterson (VBP+ Coordinator from British Columbia) to talk about arguably the most important resource on any operation- and that is the crew! Be it formal employee staffing models, or having family or community volunteers pitch in around the farm, having everyone understand what is happening on the farm or ranch operation is important!

VBP+ is an approved certification body for the Canadian Roundtable for Canadian Beef (CRSB). Beef operations that are certified by VBP+ are also recognized as meeting the CRSB Sustainable Beef Production Standard and are eligible to participate in certified sustainable sourcing programs.
