Well, Kurt Fearnley really is something else. I couldn't decide on a name for this episode as nothing could really articulate in a few words how I felt about what it has to offer.
Kurt is an incredibly humble and down-to-earth bloke. He's also a multiple gold medalist at numerous Paralympics and Commonwealth Games. He also just happened to crawl (yep, you read that right) the 96km Kokoda Track.. the first disabled person to do so..
What I love most about Kurt though is the way he articulates life as we meander through some of his experiences, one of which left me baffled... I guess I just didn't expect a wheelchair athlete to share that their first medal won at school was for high jump, of all things! That alone set's the tone for how this legend approaches life... buckle up, you're going to love him.
